There are three types of Foundation administrator: Deanery, Post Graduate (PG) / Trust and Limited Post Graduate.
The Deanery and Post Graduate administrators have virtually the same functions and differ only in the trainees they can view. A Deanery administrator sees all trainees in their deanery, while Post Graduate administrators see only trainees in their NHS Trust (usually one or two hospitals). There is also a limit on the roles they can create, for example, a Post Graduate administrator cannot create (or give the role to) a Deanery administrator.
A Limited Post Graduate administrator is able to view trainee ePortfolio submissions and status reports, but is not able to create users, move, or delete forms etc. They have more of a view-only administration role.
